Design Setting
Nestled on a small corner lot in Paddington, Spectre was designed to be both respectful and quietly bold. With a site under 260sqm and governed by a character overlay, the challenge was to create a home that responded to the local vernacular while still delivering the function and freedom of modern living.
Simple, gabled forms, a neutral palette, and warm timber accents create a subtle street presence that nods to tradition without imitation. The home is carefully shaped around a mature poinciana tree, anchoring the design to the site and softening the built form. Though modest in scale, Spectre unfolds with clarity and confidence — a reminder that size doesn’t define capability.

Lived Experience
Spectre surprises at every turn. Entering from the corner, you’re met with light-filled, open-plan living spaces that open directly onto the alfresco and pool, with the canopy of the poinciana framing the outdoor experience. The ground floor balances openness with retreat — a generous kitchen, pantry, dining, and living zone sits alongside a private media room, all flowing effortlessly together.
Upstairs, the plan continues to impress. Four bedrooms are spread across the upper level, offering privacy and flexibility for family living. The master suite is spacious and refined, complete with ensuite and walk-in robe, while a second bedroom suite provides the same comforts. A central living space adds breathing room and quiet moments away from the main living zones below.
